Project Overview Bechtel and Westinghouse Electric Company have partnered to deliver the first AP1000 nuclear power reactors in Poland for our customer, the Polish Entity Polskie Elektrownie Jadrowe (PEJ).

Position Overview : This position will be responsible for providing hydraulic and hydrologic (H&H) engineering support to the project and executing specialized activities during the licensing and engineering phases. This position has the technical responsibility of review and interpretation of nuclear licensing regulations and permitting requirements related to H&H analysis and design. Other main responsibilities include origination and/or checking of H&H calculations, preparation of licensing documents, preparation of reports, preparation of design documents such as specifications and design sketches, review of vendor submittals, etc.
The ideal candidate will have solid experience in hydrologic analysis and hydraulic design of plant systems and structures and capable of developing nuclear licensing and design documents that incorporate H&H engineering design. The position will be reporting to the G&HES EGS on the Project, receiving technical direction from the H&H subdiscipline manager, and coordinating with off-project H&H engineers, project staff from other disciplines and functions in the development of licensing and design documents.
