Provide production operational support of the SAO WOLFS, Payroll/HRM, and Info Adv systems. This includes daily production support for all system processes, as scheduled during work hours and after hours, and for unscheduled or emergency outages, issue resolution, and upgrades
during work hours and after hours, on business days and non-working days. This entrails any issues that may arise from processing interfaces, system issues, or job failures within these applications.
Data verification using Oracle SQL will be required to confirm completed processes and any referential integrity issues. Review and test system processes in the SAO WOLFS, Payroll/HRM, or info Adv systems. This process could encompass testing new or modified WOLFS or Payroll interfaces from agencies, testing software patches for baseline code, and running test cycles in non-production regions. Test and possibly modify any custom SAO scripts using COBOL, Oracle, LINUX, java, python, or Perl.
Testing or developing new processes required due to additional system functionality or external mandates, such as Debt Management or Cares Acts Programs with vendor and payment processing.
This position will also be required to assist SAO staff with technical support during training sessions with SAO staff and other agencies. This duty could include troubleshooting any hardware issues or any WOLFS, Payroll, or info Adv applications issues that may arise during the sessions. Assist in the printing of warrants from the WOLFS and Payroll/HRM cycles regularly. This includes keeping updated records of MICR printer consumables and warrant stock. Modifications of existing web applications for the website and updates to the Wy Open website and database using available tools.
This could entail modifications of existing code, creating/updating website pictures, modifying links or underlying website code, or modification requests by SAO staff. Qualifications KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of the principles behind specialized technical disciplines and significant experience developing large and complex business applications such as programming, computer hardware and software, mathematics, and their applications.
