Onsite Position Your Responsibilities As an Operations Accounting Analyst for John Deere Kernersville located in Kernersville, NC , you will: Review month-end financial results, including sales, COS, and gross margin analysis.

Prepare and submit month-end exhibits to the Equipment Operations Management Accounting Group (EOMAG) and Product Line Reporting (PLR) teams after reviewing with factory accounting leadership. Lead conversion from existing BPC exhibit preparation to Central Finance (CFIN) methodology Be responsible for all overhead, distribution, Sales, Administration and (SA&G), and Research and Development (R&D) accounts during monthly financial closing, assuring ledger is accurate.

Examine factory overhead spending, analyze actual versus forecast spending, and create budget reports, working closely with budget owners and factory leadership.

Additionally, you will. Prepare monthly forecast submission for overhead, distribution, SAG accounts. Analyze R&D overhead and labor spending and report to factory leadership and division accounting teams. Work with R&D leadership to develop monthly spending forecast. Through deep analysis drive cost reduction initiatives and provide business counseling Work on ad hoc special projects related to both factory overhead and R&D spending. Support internal control testing and a strong internal control environment.
