Monitors and evaluates execution for assigned programs to ensure funds are executed in accordance with approved operating budgets and other financial requirements. Assists in projecting and tracking obligations and expenditures within organization throughout the execution phase of the annual operating budget. Verifies and ensures requirements included in budgets are consistent with organization's mission and

requirements. Analyzes and summarizes historical data to identify trends and backss funding requirements. Prepares data summaries for inclusion in routine and special reports on budget execution.

Requirements Conditions of Employment Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. Financial Management Certification Level 2 within two years of appointment. Appointment to this position is subject to a probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315. Qualifications Who May Apply: US Citizens In order to qualify, you must meet the requirements described

below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.

g. Peace Corps, Ameri Corps) and other organizations (e. g. professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Additional information about transcripts is. GS 11: Qualification Requirements: This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).

Specialized Experience : One year of specialized experience which includes: Reviewing and consolidating budget estimates or financial plans for programs Conducting analyses to identify funding trends and anticipate funding needs Using automated financial system(s) or computer-generated products to accomplish budgeting assignments OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL. B. or J. D. in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.

OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages. All qualification requirements, including time-in-grade and time after competitive appointment, must be met by the closing date of this announcement.
