Job Summary: Raytheon Technologies (RTX) has an opportunity for a Sr. Infrastructure Storage Engineer available to support the next generation of satellite command and control systems for one of our government customers. As part of a team of engineers, the candidate will be responsible for managing storage services in multiple environments as well as providing solutions for storage related issues; must be a strong troubleshooter with experience
in storage issue mitigation as well as prevention. This position may require some on call support and overtime, occasional after-hours availability as required for installation and troubleshooting support.
The candidate should be open to expanding their skill set to include skill sets beyond purely storage as there is need. These solutions would ensure permanent fixes are found for storage related issues You will be responsible for storage configuration of storage upgrades in physical and virtualized environments You will update and maintain Storage Design Documentation You will support & maintain storage configurations for storage devices, including SAN, NAS, and scale-out object storage.
