design concepts. You will have highly focused activities on product performance and agency related elements of the programs.

As a recognized technical specialist this role will influence the organization and industry in Trade organization and agency work and provide support to the production, laboratory, service, applications, and marketing teams. How you will do it: Lead other engineers in the development of NPI programs and agency-centric activities, including Safety Agency liaison and certification, split system expanded technical documentation, and system ratings, AHRI support activities such as participation in and influencing of AHRI committees and AHRI certification programs.

Uses standard and sophisticated technical and mathematical principles, theories, concepts, techniques, processes, and standard methodologies in the field. Continuously researches equipment operation, materials, industrial processes, and manufacturing equipment. Investigates and analyzes product design requirements and recommends optimum solutions. Proficient in mechanical design and able to conceptualize and implement design ideas into the product. Utilizes mechanical engineering theory and methodologies such as heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and failure analysis.

Develop mathematical calculations and formulas using multiple variables and analyze results. Establishes prototype & test criteria, participates in laboratory testing, and analyzes test data to identify effective product designs that exceed performance, quality, and cost requirements. Responsible for the on-time completion of projects. Generates user documentation. Continuously increases expertise in all aspects of product design, theory, construction, operation, and applications. Learns and applies regulatory codes such as UL, CSA, ARHI, ASME, CE, and PED. Mentors and leads newer engineers in engineering sciences applied, and project management and execution.

Strives for continuous improvement and teamwork in a global product development and process environment. What we look for: Required Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (ABET accredited), Master’s degree preferred.
