Description: The On-site Machinist performs repairs to equipment, vessels, and mechanical structures at customer facilities. The applicant must be a US citizen. Access to Do D facilities is required. to operations and the development of life cycle maintenance planning and configuration management products which provide ships available for tasking and support the projected service life of the Nations surface ship fleet.

Provides process improvement recommendations to Engineering Department to improve maintenance planning and execution. Provides data analysis training to Port Engineers for use in developing Maintenance and Modernization Business Plans (MMBP’s) and Planning Board for Maintenance. Gathers, assembles, analyzes data and produces, graphs, charts, trends and models based on backssment and analysis of data in consideration of Total Ownership Costs (TOC). Develops presentations, benchmarks, etc. Recommends metric target/goals for improvement based on data analysis.

Tabulates and analyzes cost data. Provides support to the Department as required to include providing a weekly cost analysis brief. Makes recommendations using metrics as it relates to successful completion of ship Repair Maintenance availabilities and Business operations of a Naval Repair Facility (Shipyard or RMC). Reviews and analyzes Open Architecture Retrieval System (OARS) and Casualty Report (CASREP) data to determine the cost to perform backssment. Defines method for the collection of return cost data and provides analysis of data to support command and SHIPMAIN processes as appropriate.

Employs Automated Data Processing (ADP) techniques for development of backssment agendas, reports and planning management. Represents the organization in meetings and conferences with government and private sector representatives, both at government and private sector installations in and out-conus, to collect cost data or conduct or identify training needs. Receives visitors from other installations and private industry to explain to them the continuous maintenance production methods and techniques. Desired Skills: (5) Years of Knowledge of regulations, policies and precedents governing ship repair, availability and management methods, practices and problems.

Knowledge of qualitative techniques for analyzing and measuring the effectiveness, efficiency and productivity of ship maintenance procedures. (5) years of Knowledge of organization, programs, missions and functions of the Department of the Navy, NAVSEA, stakeholders (e. g. Type Commanders, fleet units, repair yards, private sector organizations, etc. ) Practical knowledge of Six Sigma and Root Cause analysis skills. Skill in organizing and making presentations, orally and in writing, which persuade or influence managers to accept proposals and recommendation and in composing complex problem oriented correspondences, and Power Point presentations.

Ability to analyze data and determine feasible and best alternatives and make recommendation using metrics as it relates to successful completion of ship repair Maintenance availabilities and the Business operations of a Naval Repair Facility (shipyard or RMC). Ability to represent the organization in meeting and conferences to explain programs, collect cost data, identify and address stakeholder training needs. Proficient in NMD and Microsoft Office applications.

Required Education/Experience: High school degree, or a GED, or a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or a master's degree in a relevant field Requires 5 or more years of relevant professional experience in Navy Maintenance and Modernization Availability Planning experience including extensive experience with Navy/Military Maintenance Database Programs (i. e. VSB, NMD, CCIMS, OARs, VSB or similar) Supervising and mentoring less experienced employees. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to speak in front of Senior Military and Government Officials and large audiences, and great customer interaction.

Responsible for configuring AGC GISO IT assets for vulnerability scanning and ensuring 100% coverage using credentialed scans Coordinate with RNEC-NCR, C5 ISR, and GISA as necessary to ensure vulnerability backssment tools are in place and working properly Analyze vulnerability scan results and resolve open findings; for findings that cannot be closed, create a POA&M, and recommend mitigation(s) to lessen the impact of the vulnerability; submit Operational Impact Statements (OIS) for Critical and High IAVAs. Support response procedures for cybersecurity incidents, like breaches, spillage, and insider threat actions Maintain all cybersecurity documentation required for accreditation for AGC’s GISO assets, including but not limited to architecture diagrams, boundary diagrams, data flow diagrams, ports, protocols, services exception requests, PKI certifications, IA metrics, and Privacy Impact backssments (PIA) in the requisite cybersecurity document repository and e MASS Provide input to the weekly and monthly status report covering technical activities for this functional area, including priorities, tasks, accreditation due dates and schedules, POAM status, metrics, continuous monitoring tasks, et al.

This position reports to the Associate Director of the Supply Chain Strategy team. The SCE is an extension

of the corporate shared services for supply chain related support. Additionally, the SCE is responsible for all activities associated with researching and recommending suppliers and products effective to the customer mission relative to captures and proposals.

Other possible job responsibilities associated with this role could be Supplier Management, Program Material Acquisition, Business Process Re-Engineering, and Procurement Tool deployments. Due to nature of assignments, up to 10% travel is possible. As a cyber strategic planning and policy development, you'll lead the backssment of the Do D's current cyber policies, the coverage of those policies, and areas of risks. You'll evaluate how policies stack up to regulations, best practices, and industry standards.

As you guide your client through understanding acceptable risk and availability, you'll advance the development of a strategic cyber roadmap. You'll work in a consultative role to ensure the client operates securely as they navigate an evolving IT environment. Ability to research current cybersecurity policies and procedures. Ability to brief senior leaders on cybersecurity matters. Ability to provide proactive, timely problem-solving solutions to benefit the Do D cybersecurity posture. The position entails the daily sustainment of existing computing and network systems at various locations, with a particular focus on the set-up and maintenance of a company site in Alexandria. Primary Responsibilities You will be responsible for monitoring infrastructure systems, applications, and processes, and for ensuring that all issues are identified, tracked, and resolved in a timely manner.
