Clean grease, dirt, rust, and old paint from equipment using solvent, water, rags, brushes, pneumatic wire brush and chipping hammer.
Maintain and clean paint and blasting materials. Prepare equipment for painting and blasting restoration; tape and mask equipment; mix paint and color match. Inspect finished product for overall quality. Other duties as assigned. JOB REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or GED preferred with a minimum of three (3) years of prior paint experience. Must be able to perform blasting
and painting applications as directed by supervision. Must have knowledge in the use of conventional component application in painting/blasting tools not limited to paint guns, sanding tools and material blasters, grinding tools, etc.
Must be able to perform all blast requirements and functions utilizing all application methods and identify and correct blast and paint deficiencies as required by the specifications. Qualifications and Skills: Painter shall have a minimum of 3 years' experience in painting Ability to maintain forms and records Work will require lifting to 50 lbs. stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents.
