Job Description Provide on-site consulting, guidance and assistance to physicians and operating room personnel by evaluating options and problem-solving during surgery in order to maximize IGS (Image Guided Surgery) product efficiency and usage Analyze, resolve and repair product issues through detailed analysis and utilization of engineering expertise Direct and assist

Radiology staff in performing necessary scans prior to surgery Educate/train physicians and hospital personnel, including operating staff, Radiology, Central Sterile Processing, Biomedical and Information Technologies staff, on the use of surgery products and services Develop and conduct training programs for hospital staff enabling them to implement in-house training Act as primary customer liaison, maintaining contact with customer, backssing satisfaction and usage levels, and working to increase revenue via the sale of spare parts, upgrades, etc.

Work closely with the Senior Application Consultant, Area Account Manager, Key Account Manager and Marketing Manager on market transparency,

upgrade initiatives and R&D projects Utilize engineering expertise to contribute to the quality improvement process by recommending product modifications Attend meetings and trade shows to demonstrate and promote surgery products and services Keep abreast of developments regarding Brainlab and competitive surgery products and services via ongoing training and individual research and analysis Maximize customer satisfaction Perform other duties and responsibilities as required Ability to travel 25% Qualifications B.

S. in Biomedical Engineering, Biomechanical Engineering, Bioengineering, Clinical Engineering, or Nursing required 1-3 years minimum experience in a technical support role preferably for a healthcare company or Provider 1-2 years minimum customer service experience preferred Knowledge of surgical procedures, anatomy and medical terminology preferred Proficient in the use of PC software applications including Microsoft Office Self-motivated, detail oriented and a proven history of ability to make independent decisions Additional Information In return for the experiences listed above we will provide a business casual environment, competitive compensation package including medical, dental, life, LTD, STD, and matching 401k benefits and much more.

computational methodologies and design integrative data science approaches to study Spatial Multi-Omics analysis. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to translate biological questions into technical design, and to identify, prioritize, and execute bioinformatics tasks to meet project goals and deadlines.

The analyst will participate in meetings and consultations with clients to discuss design and interpretation and will assist in manuscript and grant preparation. The candidate should have a passion for bioinformatics and enjoy collaborating and supporting academic researchers and attending seminars and meetings. The successful candidate will be responsible for: Organizing

and managing Spatial data sets. Manipulating and formatting data with R-package, Python, and Seurat tools. Develop a pipeline to analyze Spatial context related to transcriptomics and proteomics data.

Using established open-source software and tools to backss quality and analyze data. Running analyses on a high-performance computing cluster. Using software or genome browsers for visualization. Consulting with UVA investigators on experimental design, result interpretation, and grant and manuscript preparation. May be asked to perform other duties as assigned. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: Master's or terminal degree Experience: Five years of specialized experience. Preferred Qualifications:

Ph. D. in Bioinformatics, Genomics, Biostatistics, Computer science or a related field.

M. S. + experience in bioinformatics or data science. Advanced proficiency with R/Bioconductor or Python or C/C++. Knowledge of database development and AI. Experience with open-source software, tools, and databases for analyzing Spatial data analysis (Geo Mx, Cos Mx, 10x Visium, Multiplex Analysis, etc. ). PHYSICAL DEMANDS This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs. This is a restricted position and is dependent upon project need, availability of funding and performance.
