Utilize maintenance windows to coordinate routine and non-routine activities on assigned equipment to ensure safety, product quality, and optimum line efficiency. Will work across shifts and functions
as needed to effectively operate as a team. Complete and document preventive maintenance inspections on assigned lines as assigned by the Maintenance Lead.
Recommend and implement continuous improvement on equipment/systems design. #INDMFGH Ability to lead and participate in the Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) process to prevent reoccurring equipment failures. This will include driving the completion of all agreed-upon actions identified in RCFA. Utilize SAP and other systems to document maintenance activities, order parts when applicable, and assist in the scheduling and development of work orders. Recording and documentation as required by manual, computer, and other systems.
Ensures documentation is accurately completed using QCMS and QRMP guidelines. Participate in the QRMP yearly audit and assist in the development of procedures and corrective actions. Ensure compliance with Quality Platinum and Golden Rules Leadership: Holds team accountable to high standards across Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery and Moral Ensure the team is always organized and focused on the right business priorities and provide continuity between shifts. Lead Level 1 meeting, develop and own plan for the shift that aligns with expected results for your area of responsibility, set direction for the team, and support team members where needed.
Lead the execution of the plan during the shift including pit stops, loss elimination, and OSCAR process. Coordinate labor coverage with the Supervisor and Shift Lead, including overtime coverage. Lead point of contact on technical projects in the work area, interface with engineering on success criteria and vertical startup Maintain a good working relationship with associates on all shifts within all departments, while supporting plant and departmental goals and vision Train/Coach associates in the area of responsibility for operations and technical understanding of equipment Meet regularly with team members to share observations and identify help needed.
Provide corrective actions and recommendations for improvements to the process. Manages administrative processes such as vacation scheduling, etc. Manage sanitation and housekeeping activities and validate effectiveness. Check all paperwork for compliance. Reports and corrects unsafe acts and conditions. Recommends corrective action when necessary. Assist in product sequencing to minimize changeover time. Conform to all Kraft Heinz policies and procedures.
All other duties as assigned by management to support efficient plant operations. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of two years of experience in industrial maintenance Required to pass job qualification criteria for the position that includes, but is not limited to, mechanical skills testing. Person must be able to perform and train self/others on basic mechanical skills, mechanical repairs and overhauls, maintenance systems, computer skills, new technologies in preventive/predictive maintenance, problem-solving/troubleshooting, etc. where skills are not at the required level.
