Conduct research into new technologies, including tools, components, and frameworks.

Qualifications Formal Education & Certification Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology field of study (e. g. Information Technology, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, Computer Systems Management, Mathematics) or equivalent experience.

Knowledge & Experience 5+ years of IT experience. 5+ years of experience developing in the Java programing language. 3+ years of experience with Web Application Development in the JEE environment. 3+ years of experience with the following JEE frameworks / technologies: JSP /Servlet or JSF, CSS, HTML/XHTML, XML, AJAX/Javascript, Object Relational Mapping (ORM) or JPA, EJB or Spring. Experience with all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). Experience working with customers to build and formulate business requirements. Experience with Web Services (SOAP or RESTful).

Experience with SQL. 1+ years with Object Oriented Design and Analysis (OOAD). 1+ years of experience with Web / Application Containers. Preferred Experience Experience with Prime faces or Oracle ADF Faces (JSF), EJB, JPA, JQuery, Oracle PL/SQL, Hibernate, or JBoss Enterprise Application Development Platform (EAP) or Oracle Weblogic preferred, but not required. Knowledge of Business Process Management platforms, Data Virtualization or other integration platforms, Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) or Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), or Git HUB or other source control software a plus.
