• The work of the Aviation Maintenance Technician classification, depending upon assignment, includes any or all of the following: Performing skilled work in those operations such as troubleshooting, individually or with Crew Chief, the management or professional direction, disassembly, checking and cleaning, repairing, replacing, testing, adjusting, assembling, installing, servicing, fabricating, taxiing or towing airplanes, and/or run-up engines, deicing aircraft, required to maintain the airworthiness of aircraft

and all their components while in service or while undergoing an overhaul and/or modification.

• Certifies for the quality of their work, including signing mechanical flight releases, accepts signs of mechanical flight releases for all work done on fieldwork. • In positions where stock chasers are not maintained and/or available at the time, you may chase your own parts. • May have other Aviation Maintenance Technician personnel assigned to assist in completing an assignment. • Works according to FAA and Company regulations and procedures and instructions from a Crew Chief or supervisor. • Completes forms connected with work assignments according to established procedures.

• Will communicate with other Company personnel as required in a manner designated by the Company. • In addition to the above duties, performs the following duties as assigned: cleaning of aircraft windshields; connecting/removing ground power and ground start units; pushing out/towing of aircraft and related guide man functions. This position is a customer service-oriented Inspector with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience with fire alarm system devices. This role will establish a rapport and build positive relationships with our customers.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for conducting routine inspections, testing, service, and preventative maintenance on fire alarm devices and life safety product lines as well as similar competitive manufacturers product lines. Complete Service Acknowledgements with proper coding through communication devices such as laptop computers and/or hard copy. Follow and maintain a highly structured inspection schedule. Input, retrieve and archive inspection documents via laptop computer. Make minor repairs and programming changes with minimal supervision. Complete assigned inspections on time.

Perform other duties as assigned. JOB REQUIREMENTS: 3-5 years experience in low voltage electrical/fire alarm systems. Fire and/or Life Safety Systems experience. Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, programs schematics and operational/product manuals. Experience with hand tools and multi-meter usage. Demonstrates an aptitude for troubleshooting systems and performing necessary repairs. Strong working knowledge of NFPA codes. Backflow, Fire Hydrant, and Fire Extinguisher License, a plus. Possess a valid driver s license and driving record that meets company requirements.

Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required. MVR checks are required for all driving positions.
