shift at its growing facility in Barberton, Ohio! Candidates please note: This position is available on our weekend shift which consists of twelve (12) hours on Saturday and Sunday and eight (8) hours on Monday (the eight shift could be Friday instead of Monday); work thirty two (32) hours and get paid for forty (40) hours.

Scheduled off days are Tuesday through Friday or Monday through Thursday depending upon the shift. Training will be on the Monday - Friday crew before being assigned to the weekend crew. The selected candidate will operate horizontal boring mills, performing contouring, boring, facing, turning, counter boring, grooving, undercutting, reaming, milling, drilling, and

tapping operations on large scale precision-manufactured components.

Additionally, the operator will perform final inspection of the product using both an inspection probe and/or precision measuring equipment. Minimum Qualifications A high school diploma or GED equivalency is required. Formal technical education is preferred, but not required. A minimum of three (3) years' technical experience in a similar role is desired. Must demonstrate ability to maintain detailed records, complete process documentation and other production records. Must be able to demonstrate proper use of instruments such as: dial indicators, Vernier calipers, precision instruments, micrometers, calipers, jacks, clamps, bolts, shim, jigs, fixtures, and angle plates.

Must be able to recognize problems as programs are running and demonstrate ability to write/edit programs using both G and M coded controls (experience with Siemens and Fanuc controls preferred). Must be able to work with tolerances of.000" and to a microfinish 16 when necessary. Must pass all pre-employment skills-based and knowledge-based testing, background verification, drug screen, and physical examination. U. S. citizenship with no dual citizenship is required. testing and maintenance of electrical, electronic and HVAC systems on rolling stock equipment and components in accordance with FRA and Amtrak standards and guidelines.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Performs inspection, testing and maintenance in accordance with 49CFR regulations and Amtrak standards and guidelines Utilizes a variety of test equipment, PC, and graphic information to diagnose malfunctions, troubleshoot and qualify components and circuits to determine corrective actions and causes of equipment failures Repairs and/or replaces doors, electronics, signs, pantographs, and HVAC systems Installs components such as motors, generators, switches, relays, batteries, and transformers Performs

approved electrical modifications and repairs or replaces components, as necessary Troubleshoots equipment to determine corrective actions and causes of equipment failures Maintains proper care and use of materials, test equipment, machines and hand tools normally associated with assigned job Works on electrical systems and components with AC and DC voltage MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: HVAC experience High School Diploma or GED Experience in electrical repairs, and testing advanced electrical/electronic systems and reading, drafting, and interpreting circuit diagrams, schematics, and mechanical drawings Experience in both A/C and D/C electrical systems Must successfully complete training and attain/retain certifications applicable to assigned job Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems Ability to troubleshoot using schematics and multimeters Knowledge and skill in the use of electrical tools, equipment, and the measurements necessary to meet established standards Some computer skills PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & WORK ENVIRONMENT: Experience in the maintenance of railroad equipment Completion of technical school or apprenticeship program COMMUNICATION AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS: Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills The hourly rate is $25.55 - $34.07 (with opportunity for increases, as per the applicable collective bargaining agreement, after beginning employment).

Performs observation, monitoring, and security work in controlling access of public and internal entrances and exits at the Department of Corrections Juvenile Detention Facility. 50% - Security Management - Maintains security by controlling access into and out of the facility, using audio and visual monitors including employee, public and law enforcement entrances.

Primary provider of electronic access and movement within the facility. Effectively communicates through verbal or electronic means. Operates electronic and video security equipment from a locked master control booth and performs a vital role as a member of the corrections staff team in maintaining facility and

building security. Monitors all movement and activities of the interior and exterior of the facility. 25% - Customer Service - Processes and logs visitors to the facility by ensuring visitors have been approved for visitation; requests staff to bring client to visitor; ensures that the area in which the client is being transported through remains secure, maintains number of visitations to ensure that client does not exceed the regulated limit; ensures that visitors carry only what is permitted into secure area.

Provides customer service through a high volume of contact with staff, visitors and members of the public. Answers telephone calls to the facility; transferring them to the appropriate

location, pages employees and visitors when necessary. Provides customer service to the parents by providing the parent a handbook, answering questions and obtaining the appropriate releases to be signed by the parent or guardian.

20% - Records Maintenance - Maintains a Master Control Board; recording the number and location of every detained client. Prepares and maintains various records, forms, logs, and boards; to include visitation information and authorization in compliance with established policies and procedures. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma. Transcript verifying education credits is required. One year of experience in working with the public in customer service or security work.

Professional references are required to verify the related work experience. Pass legal background check, Child and Adult Abuse & Neglect Central Registry checks, KCJIS Security Policy (fingerprint) check, and pre-employment screen for alcohol and drugs. Must also meet the required conditions contained in KSA 65-516 and KAR.
