Provides technical assistance to all DOH, CDC HIV grant funded agencies, and agencies with Memorandums of Agreements (MOA). Participates in assigned outreach activities; and appropriately represents the Florida Department of Health in Broward County. Coordinates appropriate materials for distribution and submits monthly and quarterly reports, as required, by supervisor detailing programmatic activities. Works alongside Program Staff to assist in the implementation of the Get Pr EPBroward campaign and all the activities spearheaded by the HIV/AIDS Program. Participates in Broward County Prevention Planning council meetings. Participates in quality improvement activities that assist the HIV/AIDS and Viral Hepatitis and communicable disease section division of the Florida Department of Health with quality improvement, quality assurance and technical assistance. Performs technical assistance site visits and capacity building opportunities to County Health Department sites, registered test sites in Broward County and the community to promote routine HIV testing in healthcare settings by increasing the knowledge and awareness of the scope of the HIV epidemic in Florida, HIV testing guidelines, legal issues, and resources for third-party billing and reimbursement.
Analyzes HIV testing site data and prevention program activities to create and provide reports detailing HIV testing and prevention program activities. Submits monthly and quarterly reports, as required, by supervisor; and County Health Department Monthly Service Delivery report to the Monitoring and Evaluation Consultant Team by the 5th of the month following service delivery.
Attends Statewide Prevention Training Consultant meetings and participate in all PTC workgroups; and Attend meetings, in-service trainings, and conferences as requested and as required.
