Science Teacher Position

collaboratively with the Lead Teacher and other members of the classroom team to ensure the successful operation of a classroom with a total of 15-20 children. This is a 10 month position. Part-time and full-time hours available. GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: As part of the greater school community as well as of the 3K for All/Prek for All program, the candidate will be expected to assume a range of responsibilities, including: Assist all members of the classroom team in implementing a child-centered, quality early childhood program that s upports the success of all students in daily interactions and skill/knowledge acquisition.

Actively contribute to a safe, warm and supportive

classroom environment. Implement positive behavior guidance and support for all children in collaboration with school, regional and other support staff. This includes assistance with behavior management and self-care for individual student(s), including toileting assistance, as necessary.

Provide support to the teacher in managing whole group, small group and individual child learning in center-based classroom using Creative Curriculum. Actively engage children in the learning experiences in the classroom under guidance from the Lead Teacher Assist teacher with backssment methodology and maintain updated student profiles. Actively participate in all regularly scheduled team meetings and

professional development sessions. Assist with the nutrition services to children as assigned: including, but not limited to the following: transporting meals to the classroom, storage of food and supplies, participation in family style dining, clean-up and sanitation, nutritional educational activities.

Adhere to all relevant health and safety policies and procedures. Support students with toileting needs Provide services to all children and families with respect, confidentiality and dignity. Work collaboratively with classroom teacher and school leadership to engage and support parents. Support and maintain positive partnerships within the school building.

Providing a legendary member experience by consistently executing the Five Agreements. Reviewing and adhering to all NYSC and our family of brands documents including but not limited to policies and procedures, employee handbook, state supplement, codes of conduct, etc. Delivering group training

classes that are motivating and entertaining. Elevating the member experience by actively engaging with members in the group training spaces to enhance their fitness journey.

Effectively conducting inspiring classes that begin and end on time, are effective, and safe in nature. Upholding the integrity of all class formats by adhering to established standards. Classes starting and ending on time. Should be in studio and ready for class 10 minutes prior to the start of class. Ensuring studio equipment is maintained and the studio meets or exceeds safety and functional standards. Communicating equipment needs to club management. Documenting all health risk concerns and incidents and reporting to management.

Ensuring all required certifications and CPR/AED are maintained. Utilizing online class registration and payroll systems to accurately record class attendance and payroll hours. Positively promoting class registration and other club initiatives as communicated by the Group Training Team Leaders and club management teams. Maintaining positive interactions with team members, members, and guests. Learning team member roles and acknowledging a job well done. Communicating effectively with management. Reporting any repairs or supplies needed. Encouraging members to register online for classes.

Promoting personal training programs. Asking members to bring a friend to class in an effort to drive new guests and business into the club. Asking managers to observe your class for feedback. Additional duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE The ability to motivate others to lead a healthy lifestyle. Public speaking capabilities, patience, general knowledge of exercise science and safe fitness practices. Ability to proficiently use our POS and membership system, timekeeping any other computer programs required to meet the business needs of the customer and NYSC and our family of brands.

NYSC and our family of brands approved certification for any class being taught. DAY-TO-DAY This full-time teaching position in human services works the day shift during business hours. As a Classroom Instructor - General Education Specialist in human services, you're responsible for designing and implementing our classroom programs under the guidance

of the school administrator or other designated staff. In collaboration with the special education teacher, you create a classroom environment that's both motivating and stimulating for students.

You implement project-based learning experiences and opportunities through an approved curriculum that addresses the social, emotional, and academic needs of our students. Within 30 days of student admission, you also develop individual education plans (IEPs) and serve as a coordinator in IEP meetings.
