An Asphalt Plant Laborer will perform a wide range of general duties at an asphalt plant including but not limited to: shoveling, moving materials, and maintain good housekeeping while adhering to all safety regulations. Experience working around Asphalt and/or construction
equipment is preferred. Requirements: Must be able to repetively lift up to 50 pounds, walk, stoop, squat, sit, kneel and be capable of passing required physical examination Maintain reliable attendance, meeting company standards, and maintain a positive attitude.
Experience with loader / backhoe preferred. Job Summary As an Oldcastle Production Laborer you will provide general labor support in a covered and uncovered manufacturing environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Stack product as it comes off the production line Clean machinery, maintain the surrounding area, keeping area free

Assists both full-time and part-time operations personnel. Maintains the facility and equipment image. Assists in obtaining goals by improving efficiency and reducing costs.
Provides excellent customer service. Works with location manager on all safety and compliance issues. OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS May be required to drive and run local errands as needed. Performs all other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS Normally requires a high school diploma or the equivalent thereof, and knowledge of basic business principals of inventory management and mechanics.
Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development. Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
