responsibilities over Federal property, employees, and visitors. Plan and coordinate the activities of a guard force shift, to ensure the maintenance of physical security standards; enforcement of federal state, and local laws and official orders and regulations.
Ensure the guard force understands their role in protection of government and personal property, access of personnel and vehicles to the installation, supporting the implementation of emergency plans, and patrolling of restricted access areas. Develop training plans based on approved training courses and regulatory requirements and supervise necessary training for guard personnel in the use of weapons, protection against espionage,
sabotage, and other organized subversive actions. Perform supervisory and administrative duties relating to the security guard force; plans work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust short-term priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work.
