A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SENIOR LIVING CAREGIVER / PERSONAL CARE ATTENDANT As a full- or part-time Senior Living Caregiver / Personal Care Attendant, you get to provide assistance in activities and daily living for our senior residents.
With your help, they enjoy life with dignity. You do more than just assist with meals, light housekeeping, bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, and appointments. While those tasks are important, you also provide companionship and socialization as you support them in a variety of activities. You make sure that they are mentally stimulated, physically active, and well-nourished, encouraging independence as much as possible. You also make sure that their environments are safe, reducing the likelihood of accidents and promoting a timely response to illness.
You are meticulous about reporting any changes or concerns promptly. In this way, you provide real peace of mind for them and their families. And, you feel great about building relationships with our residents as you invest in their caretaking. Job Duties • Perform general housekeeping duties in the community residing in apartments and public areas. • Complete housekeeping work assigned in the order of priority by housekeeping supervisor. • Maintain housekeeping supplies and equipment to Avoid waste, damage to equipment and area, and Prevent accidents.
• The Housekeeper must practice positive relations; Respond to resident requests and direct supervisor of resident feedback and requests. • Housekeeping must adhere to residents' personal and property rights; Maintain Confidentiality of all information residing. • Comply with all infection control techniques, procedures, and policies. • Practice all safety and loss prevention
