Issue non-compliance events, maintain records of compliance activities, and provide daily and weekly reports. Monitor compliance with traffic, parking, acoustic and vibrational, air quality, business mitigation, and other areas. Coordinate and communicate with construction staff and management to ensure compliance with environmental permits. Maintain confidentiality at all times. Exercise safe work practices by following all Company safety rules and OSHA-regulations, including attendance at all required safety training programs. Participate in the company's continuous improvement programs and provide support to team efforts.
Keep up-to-date and current on industry trends by completing formal training, reviewing professional publications, and attending professional workshops. Perform other duties as assigned. YOUR EXPERTISE AND SKILLSTo perform this job successfully, individuals must be able to perform each duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. MINIMUM Qualifications Preferred BS in Planning, Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, Engineering, or equivalent experience Environmental Compliance: 3 years (Preferred) Between 1 to 3 years of professional experience in environmental planning, consulting, or a similar field.
Compliance monitoring and reporting experience on similar projects is preferred. Basic knowledge and familiarity with environmental regulations, including CEQA/NEPA, planning requirements, and other environmental policies in California. Familiarity working with multidisciplinary teams, clients, agencies, and consultants. Ability to maintain professional relationships with diverse groups, including field staff, contractors, and clients.
Aptitude for effective communication and conflict resolution between project personnel. Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions to present to supervisors. Organizational skills and attention to detail.
