Serves as the primary Fiscal Law Attorney in Military Law, and Army expert on matters of standards of conduct as they relate to procurement integrity, advising other attorneys within the FORSCOM OSJA and in OSJAs FORSCOM-wide on this matter. Qualification Requirements: The following minimum qualification requirements must be met before applicants are eligible for further consideration: Education Requirements: Position requires the possession of the first professional law degree (LL. B. or J. D. ) AND in good standing with the bar of the highest court of a State, U. monwealth, U. S. territory, or the District of Columbia.

Applicants for initial appointment into attorney positions within the Department of Army must be graduates of law schools accredited by the American Bar Association at the time of the applicant's graduation. As indicated below, a law school transcript must be submitted with your application materials. Bar Membership: Applicants must currently be a member in good standing (as defined by the pertinent bar) of the bar of the highest court of a State, U. S. territory, the District of Columbia, or Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. As noted below, proof of such membership and good standing must be submitted with your application materials.

Experience: In addition to the requirements above, applicants for the GS-14 or equivalent Attorney positions must also possess 3 years of professional legal experience , acquired after being admitted to the bar, commensurate with the duties and responsibilities of the position. Graduation from an ABA-Accredited Law School in the top 25% of the class or an advanced law degree such as an LLM may substitute for one year of the required professional legal experience. Time in Grade: The Qualifying Authorities (QA's) will make a determination as to the applicability of time in grade based on the requirements of the position.

If you are currently employed as an attorney by the Federal government you must have completed one year at the next lower grade level within 30 days of the closing date of the announcement, or previously served at the same or higher grade level as the position being filled. In order to fulfill its mission, the School is organized into three academic divisions: (1) Culture, Curriculum, & Teacher Education (CCATE), (2) Learning, Development & Psychological Sciences (LDPS), and (3) Educational Policy, Organization, & Leadership (EPOL). Position Summary: The School of Education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill invites applications for a position in Organizational Leadership and Learning, starting July 1, 2024.

This is a full-time, 9-month tenure-line or tenured appointment depending on rank at the time of hire. Candidates will carry out a research program, actively pursue external funding, and contribute to collaborative and interdisciplinary efforts across the School of Education and campus. Candidates also will (a) develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the Human and Organizational Leadership Development (HOLD), Organizational Leadership and Learning (OLL), and related programs and areas delivered in face-to-face, online, and/or blended formats; (b) support strategic initiatives across the School and campus; contribute to the ongoing development of undergraduate and graduate programs; (d) actively recruit and supervise undergraduate and graduate students; and (e) provide leadership and service at the local, state, and national levels.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: Candidates must hold a doctorate in education, sociology, organizational psychology, or closely related fields. Candidates at the assistant professor level must have an earned doctorate at the time of hire. Candidates at the associate and full levels must have an established record of research, funding, teaching, and service to meet the University’s requirements for tenure and appointment at the respective rank.

Depending on rank, candidates will demonstrate a research program that will lead to an outstanding and sustained record of scholarship and securing external funding or will already have such an established record. Candidates will have strong potential, or an established record, of outstanding university teaching and guiding students through dissertation research projects. Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience: Strong preference will be given to candidates who focus on how adults and organizations learn and develop, and apply their work to broad contexts, including higher education, businesses, government agencies, and/or private organizations.
