Develops and implements recommendations to change systems, policies, and procedures; ensures timely and accurate implementation. Prepares and maintains accurate, timely and complete documentation regarding all aspects of production. Collaborates with Human Resources in employee relations matters and ensures consistent application of policy expectations. Develops and maintains operating budget

and capital spending plans for assigned area of responsibility. Ensures industry best practices are applied and employees are trained accordingly. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Develops, coaches and mentor subordinate staff.

This role has 3 direct reports, and 100 indirect reports. Conducts performance evaluations; recommends salary adjustments; rewards employees or takes disciplinary action, as necessary; addresses complaints and resolves issues. Required Competencies / Skills: Must be able to make quick decisions on the spot & support those decisions to your peers, employees, and plant leadership. Ability to consistently meet deadlines. Ability to manage multiple projects & multi-task

with ease. Ability to drive safety & safe behaviors while maintaining the goal of preventing all injuries.

Must be able to influence & drive change management. Required Education / Experience: Bachelors Degree and 5+ Years Experience in Manufacturing, or in lieu of degree 10+ Years Experience Manufacturing. Strong presentation, communication, training, and interpersonal skills. Proven track record of understanding the drivers of product and labor cost variances.2-3 years of supervisory/management experience in processing/manufacturing operations with solid progressive leadership experience. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of reading, analyzing, and interpreting technical and business journals, financial reports, and legal documents.

Food Manufacturing & Knowledge highly preferred. Skilled in project management. Knowledge and exposure to TPM, Six Sigma, and various problem-solving methodologies. Hours: This role is primarily first shift, but requires off shift hours, weekends and holidays as needed. Travel: Ability to travel up to 10% About Land O'Lakes, Inc.
