Duties are performed under the direction of teachers or other licensed staff. Specific activities and responsibilities vary considerably among several types of para educator assignment. This position will work under the direction of the special education teacher or classroom teacher. They will work with students who need specialized instruction in reading, writing, math, or behavior
needs. This position will supervise non-academic areas such as lunchroom, recess, and hallways. They will complete medicaid forms on computer and behavior data.
