The Environmental Geologist II responsibilities encompass supporting a successful business practice in Raba Kistner's Geoscience Service Line. Conduct research and/or assist in conducting " walk-throughs" of project sites for the purpose of preparing proposals for projects. Learn and understand project financial management fundamentals and resources and assist with the oversight and management of project schedules and budgets as required. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Geology required; Master's degree in Geology is preferred. Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification / 8-hour refresher. Using a powder coating gun, making sure safety glasses and respirator are used for protection, spray wheel withproper color and to manufacturer specifications.10. Slide wheel on monorail into oven. The wheel will bake in oven for 10-12 minutes as it is automatically movedthrough the oven by conveyor. Wheel will cool down on the monorail before removal.11. Let wheel cool down on the monorail before removal.12. Once wheel is cooled down, while still hooked, move to pallet, using gloves and stack. Wheels will

cure up to 24hours before re-mounting tire.13. Remount wheels to tires according to customer specifications, by lubing the beads on the tire.14.

Lube the wheels and attach to tire by applying pressure using a foot pedal to regulate pressure.15. Move mounted tire to air station.16. Air up the tire in safety cage to seal wheel to tire and according to customer specifications.17. Place tire in designated area for storage or shipment, according to customer specifications. The Position The Scientist I will provide major contributions to the identification and validation of new drug targets, advancing novel therapies to the clinic, and developing technologies to accelerate drug research. This will

be achieved by independently designing and executing experiments, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring completion of project key deliverables.

The Scientist will represent the organization to the external scientific community through publications and presentations of research and through participation in external collaborations. Relationships Reports to of the head of the computational drug discovery department. Internal relationships include project teams and research colleagues both in Seattle, Indianapolis and around the globe. Communicates data externally when required. May oversee parts of computational drug discovery operations and computational facilities.

Individual Contributor: does not manage other employees. Essential Functions Advances research projects by demonstrating technical expertise and creativity in computational drug discovery, and broad knowledge of related disciplines Analyzes complex data with high degree of sophistication, connecting disparate datasets to reach conclusions and set direction on experiments. Contributes strong scientific acumen to enable projects and advance the research agenda Effectively communicates and collaborates across global sites and guides project strategy by providing expert input to cross-functional project teams.

May represent the organization at external conferences and by contributing to publication of scientific papers and patents. Participates in external collaborations Maintains a strong understanding of theoretical knowledge and a connection to the external scientific community through continuous evaluation of relevant literature. Expands the capabilities of computational research through the generation of new ideas, evaluation of computational drug design/discovery methodology, and implementation of technologies that add value Leads cross-functional experimental teams to achieve project goals, mentor junior staff, and provide training Influences the research pipeline by contributing recommendations to new project planning Qualifications Bachelor 's Degree required.
