PREREQUISITE: Able to and willing to perform all Chemist Level 1 responsibilities PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Perform analytical testing of raw materials, in-process samples, finished products and stability samples. · Maintain and troubleshoot analytical instrumentation. · Peer review data generated by other chemists and technicians. · Validate, verify and troubleshoot analytical methods.
· Conduct method transfers from other facilities and departments. · Author standard operating procedures and analytical methods. · Perform and/or assist with equipment calibrations and qualification.
· Assist laboratory management in preparation for internal, customer and agency audits. · Mentor other chemists on good laboratory practices. · Other related duties as required. REQUIRED SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS: · Minimum 4 year degree in chemistry or related discipline. · 2+ years experience in a medical or analytical chemistry laboratory· 2+ years experience with analytical instrumentation ( e. g, HPLC, GC, FTIR). · 2+ years experience in GLP or GMP environment. · Ability
to follow standard operating procedures. · Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Ability to organize, prioritize and effectively perform concurrent tasks with minimal supervision. · Strong attention to detail. more than 50% of lab hands-on works in application laboratory, and involve business traveling for customer visit(s) with business team. Responsibilities: Follow, and responsible to company working safety policy. Experience in coating formulation, and formulation characterizing, especially acrylate based formulation in the application of industrial coating, UV curable coating, optical, and related.
Willing to do lab test(s), and provide technical support to R&D, marketing, sales, and customer(s). Well documentation skills, including regular lab test report, customer visit feedback report, and related by work requirement. Required Profile B. S. or higher in chemistry, physics, or material
science related. 3-5 years of application related working experience in below industry (two area or more) Consuming electrics, optical coating, and industrial coating, ink, jetting, graphic art, automotive, display, OPV, floor, roofing, or other(s) relate to acrylate based formulation(s).
Require experience in working in application lab, hands-on work for formulating, and final formulation performance test, result analysis, and conclusion. Good team player. Good communication skills to internal/external customer(s).
