The Sort Line Operator is the first step in the quality assurance process of the plastic reprocessing operation. Sort Line Operators receive direction throughout their work shift from the Grind Line Supervisor. This position requires the flexibility to work 40+ hours per week and weekends as required. A Sort Line Operator reports directly
to the Grind Line Supervisor. A Pelletizing Line Operator is responsible for performing and maintaining the daily activities associated with a Pelletizing line.
This includes housekeeping, safety, quality, maintaining production efficiencies, repair and maintenance and minimizing downtime. This position requires the flexibility to work 40+ hours per week and weekends as required. Ability to work varying shifts is also required due to equipment changeovers. A Pelletizing Line Operator reports directly to the shift Wash Line Supervisor. Required Skills: Mechanical troubleshooting and repair abilities & Ability to operate heavy machinery, i. e. forklifts, in a safe manner. The Grind Line
Operator is responsible for transporting recycled plastics to the beginning of the reprocessing line using a forklift.
The Grind Line Operator is also responsible for filling boxes and transporting processed material for storage and distribution. Grind Line Operators receive direction throughout their work shift from the Plant Manager. This position requires the flexibility to work 40+ hours per week and weekends as required. A Grind Line Operator reports directly to the Plant Manager.
