ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Implements company goals and objectives to grow the energy business and develop profitable professional relationships with customers. Develops an understanding of all energy product lines along with marketing strategy,

plans, and program execution, branding, budgeting, communications, sales, pricing, training, and new market development strategies. Provides assistance with and implements sales strategies that generate profitable sales to existing and prospective customers within a specific region.

Implements innovative sales programs and pricing strategies, in conjunction with the Marketing Manager. Participates in selected sales activities, i. e. customer meetings, trade shows and sales meetings to keep abreast of sales trends. Utilizes target marketing and professional sales techniques and prepares written proposals/quotations when calling on regular and prospective customers. Maintains regular contact

with customers to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, and expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints.

Keeps accurate area records and reports and records of all sales and prospecting to develop a competitive analysis and maximize territory potential. Maintains a current knowledge of energy product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising, and promotional trends. Identifies progressive customers and coordinates the sharing of lists between sales representatives. Quotes prices and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained. Promotes the use of credit programs as a sales tool and helps provide the required information to establish credit.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS Provide backup support for Sales and Delivery Specialists, deliver refined fuel and LP on an as-needed basis during absences or during busy seasons. Creates and participates in presentations during customer meetings and trades shows as required. Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply. Performs all other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS Normally requires a Bachelor’s degree in business or related area or the equivalent thereof, and 4 years or more of business related work experience to demonstrate knowledge of and the ability to demonstrate sales leadership, generate profitable sales, build a repeat customer base, and gain market share.

Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development. Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record. Must obtain CDL driver’s licenses with air brakes, tanker and Haz Mat endorsements and Certified Employee Training Program (CTEP) certification.

Will be required to travel to travel independently and overnight. Ability to work extended hours and on-call as business conditions warrant.
