HD Pictures tell the story.
Things you can't see: New brakes, new coils, new tires, new battery, correctly rebuilt carbs, new plugs, two new exhaust baffles, fresh oil and air filters. I've put about 1,000 miles on it since I completed it last year. The modern day bullet bikes are like " What is THAT?" and have trouble keeping up.you
remember that feeling.Other than the period correct mirrors, 70's model cushioned grips and a pringle petbird, you are looking at an original bike in superior condition There is one small ding in the middle of front fender, hard to see. The paint has a nice patina, the levers and guages are untouched originals.
Truly a special find, they are only original once.

1947 RAINBOW Chief with Factory Sidecar!
Never been apart. Clear Title! Very RARE BIKE.I've never seen another one like it. Chrome still great too. Ken Edmiston rebuilt the carb, installed Ollie Cams, and put a brand new Indian clutch in it about 500 miles ago. Speedo works but odometer does not. Generator might need adjusting as it discharges
with the headlight on but no problem with light off. Runs great! Sounds amazing with those Ollie cams! Has 6 Volt Optima Battery hidden in the sidecar for better reliability and no battery spills! Sidecar is the nicest I've ever seen! No rust and one of the last 40s sidecar with brake!
~ Stops great. Wonderful original old white walls, I think Goodyear Eagles, that still have a great tread and hold perfect air, with red rare accessory valve stem covers! Sweet rig. Nearly everything is original!

Original 6 volt electrical system, hydraulic lifters are noisy on startup but goes away after pressurization.
Starts and runs on choke, needs new rubber band gaskets at manifold and good carb clean to be fine tuned. Engine sounds good, no weird noises. Front and rear points have been timed by a well respected Harley shop in the Seattle area
so that detail is done. Miles on the Harley speedo say 10700, VIN # matches title, clean and clear title in hand. This was what they call a 'Coney Island special' because of all the lights and accessories on it and this Harley has been sitting dormant for almost 20 years.
It had more rear lights on it but I took them off because they really hid the originality of this bike. The previous owner's storage was broken into and he decided to sell before it was stripped to nothing. The tank and seat and one saddlebag and headlight trim were already stolen and that's how I received the bike. I had some newer gastank halves laying around and an old Harley seat and they will come with the bike but they're just set on the bike right now and are not original.
