A CRH Company, is seeking a Regional Claims Manager to lead the claims and contract risk needs of its regional businesses. This newly created

role, reporting to the Director of Environmental, Health and Safety, will enhance consistency of Workers Compensation, Auto Liability and General Liability claims’ management and Contract Risk across the region.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions) Claims Management –

Workers Compensation, Auto Liability and General Liability Claims- Provide oversight of Preferred Materials' Workers Compensation, Auto and Liability claims by assisting in investigation, valuation, and ultimate resolution for both non-litigated and litigated matters.

Mitigates the organization's exposure to risk by coordinating all claims-related activities along with our local management and safety managers. Reviews first and third-party claims for irregularities, accuracy, and completeness. Requests additional information, where necessary, for completion of claim processing. Maintains updated records and prepares required reports. Resolving bona fide claims at the least possible cost through various risk management and risk transfer techniques, whenever possible.

Partnering with internal stakeholders, legal counsel, and third-party administrator (TPA) to drive WC and Liability claims resolution. Direct the program to ensure the proper and efficient handling of claims, gathering data on claims for both record keeping and loss forecasting purposes, and estimating the financial value of claims. Supports department manager regarding all aspects of claims administration, loss forecasting, and analysis to assist in loss reduction. The primary function of this position is claims management.

Knowledge and/or experience in contracts and insurance requirements would be a plus. Contract Risk - Identifying contract risk and leading improvements to mitigate/reduce operational and contractual risk. Coaching internal stakeholders through contract risk backssment. Coach and provide oversight for others managing insurance documents/requirements for contractors & subcontractors. Qualifications Education/Experience Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, risk management, or a related field of study or equivalent experience. Minimum five (5) years of experience managing Liability claims with an insurer, third-party administrator (TPA), or risk management function.

Demonstrated skills working with outside advisors, insurers, TPA, and legal partners. Professional designation preferred. Exposure to the building materials, construction or manufacturing sectors preferred. Experience leading teams preferred. Work Requirements Must be 18 years in age or older. Must pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check. Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures. Willingness to work independently within in a team environment and assist the team with other duties as required.

Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required and have a valid driver’s license. Knowledge/Skill Requirements Knowledge/Experience in Workers Compensation, Auto and/or Liability claims management and handling. Strong ability to gain stakeholder trust and create alignment around contractual terms to reduce risk. Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) with strong problem-solving skills. High ethical standards. Complete work independently and resolve issues under pressure. Ability to effectively work and collaborate with people with a wide range of skills, experience, cultures and capabilities.

Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills along with a sense of urgency. Always maintain professional demeanor while representing the company. As a Bank Customer Service & Sales Representative, you'll work within defined guidelines, to facilitate the financial security of members through needs-based sales and service conversations on a single Banking line of business

or product set. In this role, you will make a difference to our members as you identify immediate and underlying financial needs and respond with relevant solutions through offering USAA Banking products and services.

What you'll do: Explore member’s banking needs and responds with needs-based solutions. Recommends new banking products that might be of interest to the member. Provide operational support to members with their banking needs on multiple Banking products. Review accounts and transactions to ensure adherence with regulatory guidelines and may be required to take action and/or escalate non-compliant issues. Work under limited direct supervision to identify and recommend thoughtful trade-offs for the member and USAA.

Identify and confirm the member’s immediate request(s) and works to resolve issues. Maintain high levels of member satisfaction consistent with USAA’s core values and demonstrate a dedication to quality through member interactions. Identify and handle existing and emerging risks that stem from business activities and the job role. Ensure risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, supervised, and controlled. Follow written risk and compliance policies and procedures for business activities.

The salary range for this position is: $43,750 - $63,800.
