with a research and teaching interest in Twentieth-Century African-American History. Faculty hired in this position will teach a 2:2 load with undergraduate and graduate courses in both History and African-American Studies, as well as supervise graduate students in History.
The tenure granting department will be History, with teaching duties split between the two units. This position is included in the University of Mississippi, College of Liberal Arts multi-year faculty cluster hire initiative. Black intellectual thought in the social sciences, fine and performing arts, and the humanities.
