Recommend coffee shop items to customers to ensure they

get the products they want and need. Use all equipment in coffee shop such as the refrigerators, freezers, slicers, and ovens according to company guidelines.

Adequately prepare, package, label and inventory ingredients in merchandise. Check product quality to ensure freshness. Review " sell by" dates and take appropriate action. Properly use kitchen equipment, espresso machine, blender, computerized scale, steamer, etc. Label, stock and inventory department merchandise. Report product ordering/shipping discrepancies to the department manager. Display a positive attitude. Stay current with present, future, seasonal and special ads. Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines.

Ensure proper temperatures in cases and coolers are maintained and temperature logs are maintained. However, employees who have access to the compensation information of other employees or applicants as a part of their essential job functions cannot disclose the pay of other employees or applicants to individuals who do not otherwise have access to compensation information, unless the disclosure is (a) in response to a formal complaint or charge, (b) in furtherance of an investigation, proceeding, hearing, or action, including an investigation conducted by the employer, or (c) consistent with the contractor’s legal duty to furnish information.
