A glass machinist apprentice will plan, setup, program machine, lightweight and measure high value hardware components, primarily for optical applications. Operations include grinding, milling, light weighting, contouring, vent holing, and other precision machining to meet customer specifications.

The Lead Construction Specialist of Capital Construction reports to the Manager of Capital Construction for the New York Portfolio. This position will be Amtrak’s on-site representative during the construction phase of projects and works directly with field supervisors and contractors.
