The Director will support overall processes around clinical compliance and will work in conjunction with clinical coordinators across all programs to assure consistency in policy, where applicable, to help guide overall compliance school-wide and to build new clinical placements sites, as needed.

In addition, this person will be responsible for coordinating and expanding high impact experiential learning opportunities across the school including internships, study abroad, shadowing, and other high impact experiences. This position will report to the Dean of the School of Health Sciences. About Quinnipiac: Quinnipiac University

Responsibilities: Manage clinical affiliation agreement/contract processes for all programs in collaboration with clinical coordinators Oversee the clinical compliance portion of the affiliation agreements and notify the clinical coordinator of any contractual changes initiated by the agency Act as the SHS liaison with university legal counsel and Provost with respect to clinical affiliation agreements and compliance-related issues, and other university offices as needed and directed by the Dean Manage web-based clinical software programs.

This may include building data structure, automatic report generation, training and trouble shooting. Serve as contact person with software vendors Serve as the SHS liaison to the three-school clinical education and compliance committee Serve as point person for inquiries regarding general clinical compliance requirements, policies, and procedures Act accordingly and in a timely manner to find solutions to clinical compliance problems that may arise.

Serve as Dean’s designee in regard to background check and drug screening clearance issues Manage and track clinical placement requirements, including background checks, drug screens, health, and other clinical requirements for all programs as defined by clinical agencies, to ensure student compliance Collaborate with clinical coordinators and program directors and chairs regarding all clinical placement processes and modifications Act as the SHS liaison with Student Health Services with respect to incident reports and clinical compliance issues Act as the SHS representative in communications and onboarding with institutional partners including Hartford Health Care Support development of experiential learning partnerships, including internship and research opportunities, with clinical sites and external partners Collaborate with the dean’s office in facilitating general clinical operations Participate in school and university recruitment events, as needed Other related duties as assigned Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree Master's degree preferred Qualifications: 3-5 years of experience in matters related to clinical compliance for health profession programs, including health requirements background check and drug screen policies, clinical affiliation agreements, and student placement policies Ability to build and manage complex databases.
