The Building Substitute Teacher is a regular, full-time position that provides classroom instruction during absences of the regular classroom teacher in a range of classrooms. The substitute teacher follows lesson plans and provides instruction on a broad range of subjects, aids students in understanding subject matter, and ensures that regular classroom routines are followed. Coordinates special education placements outside of the public school system. Coordinates transportation of special education students within the district and in placements outside of the district.
