Position summary: The Machine Maintenance Technician will perform all preventative maintenance inspections and service on machines. They will also troubleshoot any issues and communicate with suppliers to ensure the issue is resolved. COMPENSATION
& HOURS OF OPERATION: Starting at $26.00 and based on experience ALL FIRST SHIFT WORK Essential Duties and responsibilities: Set up, operate and perform basic maintenance on all machines within the department.
Troubleshoot faulty machinery and diagnosing the root cause of the malfunction using diagnostic tools and problem-solving abilities Run diagnostic tests to ensure system functionality Repair broken or faulty machine parts Manage spare parts, inventory and consumables, ensuring proper levels in stock Obtaining information on replacement parts or actions needed to restore production Read, interpret, and follow instructions in operation manuals Create and implement standard maintenance
operation procedures based on specific machine knowledge Responsible for maintaining work area, quality control in relation to the product being assembled, and meeting production needs set by management Cross-train to perform job duties on all CNC machines Communicate effectively through phone and email Perform other duties as assigned Flexible hours (mainly first shift) but willing to work the hours to get machine breakdowns resolved on weeknights or weekends on occasion Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
