Job Summary: The Maintenance Tech performs highly diversified duties including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting, and repair of machines, equipment and plant facilities. This includes scheduled, unscheduled or emergency repairs.

Perform regular preventive maintenance which also includes maintaining supporting documentation for the PM's. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Conduct maintenance according to skill level and pursuant to safety policies and procedures. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make-adjustments. Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report those unusual situations to the facility maintenance manager. Utilizing Microsoft Office, order and schedule parts as well as jobs.

Perform work in a safe manner and use Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) at all times. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Has completed or is working on a 2-year trades degree and/or 4 years of plant maintenance experience. High school diploma or equivalent. Must be 18 years of age. Able to read, write and speak English. Bilingual capabilities are a plus. Able to communicate and take direction from Sanitation Manager and communicate effectively with line workers, Leads, Supervisors and Plant Manager. Attention to detail. Legible record-keeping and data entry skills.

Must be highly motivated, flexible and have creative problem-solving abilities. Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Welding and fabrication, full understanding of 3 Phase electrical, tree phase motor controls. Troubleshoot AC & DC drives. Work Environment and Physical Requirements: Manufacturing environment - exposure to a variety of machines, noise levels, and varying temperatures. Depending on which location, our environments can be very warm or refrigerated. Team environment - must be able to work well with others and communicate in a respectful and professional manner.

Paint any and all areas of the facility as directed by the facility manager/supervisor to ensure that all painted surfaces such as poles, signs, doors, walls, curbs, islands, gates, etc. are properly maintained and look neat and clean. Perform tasks such as replace light bulbs as needed or apply oil absorbent to oil spills. Walk garage daily to note and correct any maintenance problems. Check conditions on the ticket

splitters, gates, ticket supply, time clock, and other equipment for proper functioning and general appearance. Pick-up and delivery of winter supplies, sand, salt, fuel, power equipment, vehicles, etc.

Maintain an inventory of janitorial supplies and submit requests to re-stock supplies as needed. Operate automatic sweepers, scrubbers, outdoor equipment(such as weed eater), lawnmowers, or other electrical tools to repair or construct items, as applicable. Shovel, plow, or blow snow from the entrance or exit ramps and in areas designated by the Facility Manager, as applicable. Resolve customer complaints independently or with the aid of a supervisor. Report any known accidents or violations

of Company policy, safety hazards or any unusual occurrence to the local manager in a timely manner.

May be asked by local management to complete small cleaning or maintenance tasks according to the company's maintenance checklists. Other special projects as assigned by location management. The Maintenance Supervisor works closely with operations, maintenance staff and senior leaders to ensure maintenance and operations are closely aligned and

achieving their strategic initiatives. The role oversees daily maintenance activities within the maintenance shop, leads a team of technicians, delegates daily tasks to staff, maintains proper fleet availability and shop inventory, manages forecasting repairs and ensures safety measures are followed.

Manages fleet registrations and maintain all IFTA, overweight permits for fleet vehicles. Qualifications: Two or four year college degree highly preferred, with 4 years of mechanical experience and relevant leadership experience or minimum high school diploma, with 6 years of mechanical experience and 4 years of leading a team and department.
