What you'll do on a typical day: Identify facility design requirements based on activity levels, product dimensional profiles, product flow and transportation methods Develop production time studies, head count analyses, downtime analyses, efficiency improvement plans, warehouse slotting and SKU velocity analyses Identify bottlenecks and improve flow; analyze inbound, outbound and inventory operations to create and maintain optimum warehouse operations Perform value stream mapping, process improvements and standardization across multiple sites Assist pricing and solutions teams

in providing operational cost and other key info needed for RFPs Track KPIs and develop basic analytics for all operational metrics Work with vendors to identify operational equipment and automation solutions Develop and manage project plans for major operational improvement activities Support the Maintenance department by developing lists of critical spare parts, min/max tracker Daily P&L tracking for Finance Convert contract documents, proposals and statements of work into work instructions and operating procedures; submit ISO-compliant work instructions and standard operating procedure documents to the Quality Management System (QMS) What you need to succeed at GXO: At a minimum, you'll need: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field, or equivalent related work or military experience 1 year of engineering experience Experience with analytical tools such as flow charts, Pareto charts, cause and effect diagrams, run charts, etc.

Microsoft Office experience It'd be great if you also have: Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt designation Availability to travel up to 25% Experience with BI software such as Tableau, Power BI, Data Studio, etc. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present clean, organized and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience Ability to compose thorough and detailed technical documentation, job aids, procedure manuals, etc.

Additionally, this role will also identify and alleviate any process design and communication inefficiencies, at the project level, to reduce project and program costs.

Georgia Power's Distribution Grid Investment Plan is a 15-year plan focused on improving overall system reliability, reducing O&M expenses, and increasing customer satisfaction. This position will provide engineering oversight for hundreds of projects being completed over this timeframe (over $1B in investments), to accomplish our goal. Additionally, this role will serve as a leader during

storm restoration efforts. Job Requirements A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is required, with an advanced degree a plus. Relevant industry certifications are a plus (i.

e. PE License, PMP Certification, etc. ). A minimum of 5 years of distribution experience is preferred in one of the following areas: Electric Power Distribution Operations, Protection and Control (P&C) Field Services, or P&C Applications. Working knowledge of Cym TCC and Cym Dist is preferred. Extensive knowledge of electric utility system operations, overhead and underground distribution design, distribution automation, and coordination of protective devices is preferred. Cym TCC, Cym Dist, TCMS, ARCOS, JETS, CSS, ARMS, and DISTVIEW). Proven record of dealing effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Demonstrated ability to recognize high profile opportunities and respond, as needed, without prompting. Job Responsibilities Review engineering designs during scoping and engineering phases to ensure that Georgia Power's design practices are followed. Provide necessary input to contract engineers during scoping and detail engineering to optimize the financial, safety, and reliability impacts of Grid projects. Review construction prints and JETS estimates to ensure projects are being estimated accurately.

Monitor Georgia Power's mapping system and SCADA on circuits with active projects and ensure plans are in place to return the system to it's normal state as timely as possible. Optimize project designs to reduce project and program costs and maximize reliability. Analyze outage management system data, SCADA data, and metering data to determine root causes impacting distribution reliability. Develop presentations to present projects and status updates to management and various governing committees, as needed.
