Execution includes leading and driving quality performance improvements through each division or business unit. Additionally, the position will directly support the implementation or continual improvement of the QMS at each respective facility through the development of policies, procedures, and supporting systems that drive world class quality performance. The position will support integration of the Voice of the Customer
into the training and coaching of quality strategies to meet or exceed customer expectations.
The position will manage the corporate QMS audit process, ensuring strict compliance with QMS standards, and guiding the development of improvement plans focused on the desired execution of the QMS and the results it delivers to achieve the company's quality goals and objectives. This position reports to the Quality Sr. Manager. Develop and implement a plan to bring all plant sites into compliance with the QMS. Ensure the sustainment of critical processes that support the system at those sites. Lead and monitor the internal auditing process of the QMS at the sites. Provide feedback and support to the appropriate site personnel for improving their auditing process, while working to maintain consistency across the company.
Work with plant site personnel to improve process capability, identify gaps in understanding, and deliver appropriate levels of training. Responsible for the development and coaching of Plant CI/Quality Managers and Plant Managers across the company to properly align and implement consistent processes. Drive VOC initiatives within the QMS across all sites to foster proactive data analysis, concrete problem-solving techniques, and a customer-focused culture.
Develop, lead, and implement control systems at plant sites through proper documentation, standardization, accurate communication, and consistent replication. Ensure plant leadership properly manage these control systems. Ensure inspection and product release programs for incoming/in-process/finished good materials are in place, effective, and compliant with regulatory and customer requirements. Ensure the QMS complies with safety and product stewardship standards, and evolving legislation. Monitor quality performance & review VOC results (both internally & externally), develop strategies to continually improve the QMS, and drive growth and innovation.
Produce statistical reports for corporate and plant leadership to drive improvement. Analyze corporate Quality KPI scorecards to measure effectiveness of the QMS. Work within the company supply chain to establish quality requirements and expectations from internal & external suppliers to drive Supplier Management initiatives within the QMS. Oversee the Logistics quality control and improvement processes and systems. This includes working with transportation and warehouse managers and logistics providers, as well as managing the relationship with 3rd party claims support contractors.
Define and implement consistent test methods, equipment, and procedures at plant sites (MSA). Ensure plant leadership is properly managing their testing methods and provide support when appropriate. backss the product specifications and process capability of the company, its suppliers, and compare with customer requirements to achieve production synergies throughout the value stream. Assist with implementation and standards of SPC programs at the plant sites. Assist sites with QMS deployment as applicable to AIP and business strategy changes.
Lead the training, auditing, and organization of the company Fiber Certification Chain of Custody and Certified Sourcing programs. Ensure procedures and training material are up to date, well organized and accessible. Deliver training. Lead the internal and external auditing activities and follow up. Conduct Management Reviews.
