Shop Technician Requirements : • Tear down, evaluate and repair AODD pumps (ARO, Wilden, Husky, Sandpiper/Warren Rupp), Peerless ANSI, close coupled, frame mounted, split case, and vertical turbine pumps, Goulds pumps, multi-stage, and close coupled pumps.

All brands of piston driven pumps, Blackmer vane pumps and Blackmer compressor pumps, Iwaki and Finish Thompson Mag drive pumps, Tonkaflo multistage pumps, Pioneer and Gorman Rupp self-priming pumps. Most models of Grundfos pumps, Roto-Jet and Thomas pump

high pressure pumps. All brands of progressive cavity pumps. Install and inspect various mechanical seal and packing arrangements on pumps in for repair or on new pump applications.

Review and inspect shop personnel for accuracy of required parts for rebuilds. Machine impellers to specified dimensions for new pump buildups. (Brass and stainless). Utilize the end mill for various machine work application such as cutting slots in hasteloy shaft sleeves. Design, engineer, weld up and build custom fabricated base plates for pumps and motors. Engineer and fabricate custom guards for belt driven and in line pumps. Contact vendors for steel pricing and availability of raw materials or custom

fabricated bases. Proficiency in basic A/C electrical wiring, schematics, motor testing and motor hook up.

Design and build PVC pump systems per the customer’s needs. Assist on field repairs and pump installs as required. Re-supply shop supplies and tools as needed. Assist sales people on their customer related issues. Provide customer training on various pumps. Provide any customer support that is required on various pump issues. Maintain shop equipment for operability (preventive maintenance). Repair, fix, and maintain building operations and shop equipment when required. Other duties may be assigned. Brief Description of Duties Provides substitute and/or call-in services of a residential advisor. Ensures orderly, clean living conditions by scheduling and supervising clean up and submitting repair requests.

Provides supervision for the cafeteria, laundry, special activities (on and off Center) and other areas of the program as scheduled or assigned. Identifies and assists students in handling special problems and conducts dormitory meetings. Maintains communication with students’ counselors, instructors, and with other staff members. Attends staff in-service training

sessions and other training or meetings as directed. Establishes a close working relationship with students, dealing justly and impartially regardless of their ability, achievement or background, and works to motivate them toward goals.

Initiates and directs dormitory programs, utilizing Center services and activities to benefit students. Follows all non-health standing orders. Transports students to various activities and events as needed. Maintains an environment wherein students and staff feel safe and secure. Maintains logbooks as directed and authorized that show activity during shift. Ensures case notes and other entries in CIS are accurate and up-to-date. Secures students personal

property/items when a student is absent for 24 hours; all items are to be placed in property and logged.

Submits time sheets according to Residential Living Supervisor. • Assists and trains student leaders per center policy. Participates in intramural programs. Ensures students meet their evening schedule. Provides support for safety and security on center. Ensures that buildings are secure and clean at all times. Conducts periodic checks and maintains order and discipline in his/her assigned dorm. Works towards meeting performance center goals. Follows the CDSS plan and Code of Conduct system daily. Complies with all DOL guidelines, OFCCP regulation, Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) Serrato policies and procedures, Job Corps notices and bulletins, and Center policies and procedures.

Adheres to required property control policies and procedures. Maintains good housekeeping in all areas and complies with safety practices. This person provides complete supervision of the medication room, pass techniques, documentation and supervision and provision of care related to medication in the community.

The Medication Tech must, within the individual’s area of focus, assure compliance with Covington Senior Living’s quality standards as well as State and Federal regulations. This individual must be highly organized and possess outstanding interpersonal skills with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.

The Medication Tech works closely with the Community RN, Executive Director and Asst. Executive Director to ensure operational performance, quality service, and competitiveness with other area facilities.

The Resident Caregiver must be a firm decision-maker, taking into consideration the impact of that decision on the overall organization. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS The Medication Tech reports to the Community RN, Executive Director and Asst. Executive Director. The Resident Caregiver is responsible for carrying out the primary duties as outlined by the Executive Director. These essential functions include, but are not limited to: § Demonstrate positive interpersonal relations in dealing with

employees, residents, residents’ families, visitors, and coworkers in a professional and confidential manner.

§ Ensure medication room/carts are completely stocked with all required medications including OTC medications that are ordered by the physicians of residents receiving medication assistance. § Communicate all medication changes to residents, staff, & family members. § Coordinate medication orders and deliveries with the shop. § Communicate with physicians and other healthcare providers as needed. § Monitor Psychotropic medication use is congruent with physician orders endure resident behaviors actually warrant the use of medication.

§ Control Medication Cart access and key assignment. § Pour, pass, and assist with administration of medication in accordance with state regulations. § Read all communication notes regarding the community between the various shifts of the community. § Assist Resident Caregivers (CNAs) with providing personal care to residents who are on services with the community. § Document all care given to residents in ADL Charting. Regulatory and Legal § Comply with community’s policies and procedures and recommend changes as necessary. § Bring to the Administration’s attention to any deficiencies that may arise.

§ Ensure compliance to policies relating to blood-borne pathogens, hazard communication, and infection control. § Ensure compliance with respect to risk management; the dying and the aging process; fire safety; disaster preparedness; residents’ rights; grievance procedures; and medication administration. § Other § Develop skills and education through other higher educational and/or continuing education opportunities. Annual continuing education requirements shall be determined by State regulations or as required by the Executive Director.

§ Complete full orientation upon hire. § Attend staff meetings as required. § Participate in patient care planning conferences. § Set a good example to all employees of punctuality, dependability, productivity, use of time (no cell phone/texting, social media, or computer use). The Public Service Representative aids the users of services and facilities of a State agency by providing specialized information and services, explaining and applying rules, policies, procedures, and programs. Requirements Position Responsibilities/Role Competencies: Provide the public (over the telephone, via email, and at the counter), with explanation of rules, policies, procedures, and programs in order to secure compliance and explain requirements, (e. g. explains requirements for nursing licensure or certified nurse assistant certification). Provide information to the public to aid in understanding of agency programs and procedures. Respond orally and in writing, to requests for pertinent information from professionals, law enforcement officers, other state agencies. Review available data from agency records and applies it to a specific case.

Explain compliance requirements to help clients understand agency policies and procedures. Keep current on changes in legislation in order to respond to agency/program related inquiries. Refer to desk manuals and agency procedures to answer specific questions (e. g. what license is necessary for a particular nurse, what tax refund program will be sending a refund check and when can it be expected, what financial aid is available for hospital charges). Issue permits, licenses and similar documents after establishing conformance to criteria (e.

g. permits to motor carriers for highway use, permits for variation from standard highway use, tax stamps to owners/operators of taxable equipment). Accept payments and fees for transactions (e. g. motor carrier taxes, delinquent personal and withholding taxes, license, and permit fees). Review completed database and forms for accuracy. Retrieve information on computer to check that the data supplied is correct. Refer public inquiries to proper personnel within or outside the agency based upon individual circumstances. Keep records of inquiries per departmental procedure. Participate in classroom and on-the-job training to learn technical and administrative data.

Perform other duties as assigned. Required Skills, Education, and Experience: Basic knowledge of proper grammar, punctuation, spelling, capitalization, and sentence structure. Basic knowledge of arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentage). Skill in gathering information regarding laws, rules, policies, procedures, or services and explaining them to the public (in person, in writing, or on the telephone). Skill in dealing with the public, in person, via email and on the telephone, to provide specialized assistance, explain requirements or gain compliance.

Skill in using policy and procedures manuals, handbooks or specialized reference materials for answering questions. Skill in learning technical data in order to explain it to others. One year of which must have included explanation of rules, regulations, and policies and responsibility for dealing with unique or unusual situations. Preferred medical, medical, nursing or public health background.

High School diploma or equivalent. Physical Demands and Work Environment: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
