with patient care, such as positioning patient, lifting and turning patient with proper body mechanics, applying/utilizing special equipment as necessary and ambulating the patient as directed.
Under supervision, performs general care activities for patients in isolation. What you'll have: High School Diploma or GED. Certified Nursing Assistant. Previous orderly or nurse aide experience preferred. Ability to read, write and comprehend medical terminology. Working knowledge of personal care activities, transfer techniques, CPR, traction set-up, post mortem care including legal boundaries for coroner care. Knowledge of growth and development; specifically an understanding of the cognitive,
physical, emotional and chronological maturation process.
Understanding of the range of treatment needed by patients of all ages in relation to the growth and development processes to include neonate, child, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
