Provide professional nursing care to residents, flexible to patient census and staffing needs. Administer professional services. Use restraints when necessary and in accordance with established policies and procedures. Administer routine medication including IV meds, charts and makes decisions about the use of PRN medications. Obtain specimens for lab tests as ordered. Take and record TPRs, blood pressures, etc. Monitor seriously ill residents as necessary. Notify the resident's attending physician and next-of-kin when any changes in resident's condition. Consistently & thoroughly completes documentation in a timely manner, including initialing medication & treatment admin.

BLS must be complete within 6 months of start date and maintained. Attends all mandatory departmental meetings and in-services. Work Schedule Evening/Night shifts; 72 hours every 2 weeks 6:00 pm - 6:30 am, 10:00 pm - 6:30 am Every other weekend/holiday Occasional call time (8-12 hours per month) Pay The hourly range for this position is listed below.
