The Registered Nurse / RN assumes responsibility for overall coordination of the patient’s experience and integration of patient care based on the nursing process. The Registered Nurse / RN directs high quality and patient focused care according to established standards of safety, risk management, QI, Infection Control, with the goal being to discharge the patient with an optimum level of care provided.
