In addition to the Minimum Qualification Requirements, all candidates must possess the following: High School Diploma; and Minimum two (2) years of buying experience in public or private enterprises. Preferred Requirements/Skills: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college. Knowledge of New York City's Procurement Policy Board Rules, local laws, and policies impacting procurements. Experience with the New York City's Financial Management System (FMS). Experience working with government procurement. Experience negotiating contracts with suppliers and/or subcontractors.
