A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN X-RAY PRODUCTION CLEANROOM ASSEMBLER You are the expert who builds X-ray parts, including the same x-ray detectors that are currently on Mars in the new Mars Rover! You are responsible for the basic processes of manufacturing, testing, inspection, and shipping preparation, including loading and unloading. With accuracy, you collect, evaluate, and record test data. You meticulously manipulate small parts and frequently work with a microscope.
Throughout your shifts, you identify opportunities for improvement and implement them accordingly. Always safety conscious, you make sure to follow all established procedures, especially when working with chemicals. Your contributions to technology do not go unnoticed. QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN X-RAY PRODUCTION CLEANROOM ASSEMBLER High school diploma or equivalent At least one year of related electronics production experience or equivalent Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to work with small parts Willing to work nights or weekend shifts Ability to work in a cleanroom environment, including wearing a bunny suit and working around production processes or equipment with various chemicals A technical certificate in electronics, engineering, or related field is preferred , but not required.
