Center for Personalized Diagnostics The Genomic Variant Analyst II will be proficient using a variety of computational databases such as COSMIC, Onco KB, the UCSC genome browser, et al to aid in the interpretation of genomic variants.

The successful candidate will be familiar with concepts in molecular biology and genomics, meticulous with complex data review and documentation, possess strong critical thinking and organizational skills, and communicate effectively in a team-oriented

environment. The Genomic Variant Analyst demonstrates a thorough knowledge of Genomics Laboratory and Variant Analyst operations, including theoretical aspects of technical procedures, as well as department policies and routines with minimal technical supervision.

Responsibilities: Applies knowledge and skills to accurately follow all lab post-analytical procedures covering data analysis and preliminary review. Follows all lab pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical procedures covering specimen, analytical test system and result reporting requirements. Reviews NGS data and investigates and annotates new variants. Takes appropriate corrective action according to established procedures

when data analysis deviates from acceptable level.

Documents all corrective actions taken. Immediately notifies Manager or Director if unable to resolve test system problems. Ensures data is not reported until all corrective action has been taken and the pipeline is performing within specifications Monitors, performs, and documents all Quality Control issues. Identifies issues/factors that adversely affect test performance. Provides analytical support to staff, physicians, and personnel to resolve any issues related to data analysis. Takes appropriate corrective action according to established procedures, when test system performance deviates from acceptable level.

Documents all corrective actions taken including calling technical support. Immediately notifies Supervisor and/or Director if unable to resolve test system issue. Ensures test results are not reported until all corrective action has been taken and test system is performing within specifications. Participates in Proficiency Testing and ensures proficiency testing is performed in the same manner as patient specimens. Maintains compliance with Proficiency Testing policies. As directed by the Manager, maintains and updates laboratory policies, procedure manuals and specified documents required for review by regulatory agencies.

Ensures that all employees are kept up to date with these changes. Assists the manager in specified activities that ensure laboratory compliance with all accreditation agencies. Compliance with Competency accreditation guidelines is a staff responsibility that must be completed annually. May function as the General Supervisor for selected duties when required. Demonstrates initiative in continually improving personal knowledge, skills, and work experience; and in improving departmental functioning. Works well with Manager and those in authority; works at establishing a good rapport and cooperative working relationship with all members of the laboratory; maintains a positive rapport with medical staff and hospital personnel.

Responsible for maintaining adequate staffing. As directed by the Manager, coordinates the training of new employees, rotating Fellows/Residents to interpret clinical NGS data and manage sample triage. Investigates laboratory incident reports and documents the findings as per UPHS procedures. Master of Arts or Science , required. Molecular biology, genetics, or related field 3+ years Genomic variant analysis in a Diagnostic Laboratory OR other genomic data analysis experience, required.

WHAT YOU WILL DOIn exercising their independent judgement and discretion, the employee is responsible for performing the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned: Lead store employees through the execution of company business plans/objectives to drive sales, be profitable and provide a supervisor customer and employee experience. Manage store while meeting retail budgeted sales, labor, expenses and overall P&L monthly results to ensure operating EBITDA and income are achieved.

Attend the opening and closing the store and maintaining proper accountability for cash handling, inventory audits, End of Month inventory reconciliation and thoughtful. scheduling to drive revenue while controlling overhead costs. Jushi's Mentor, motivate, elevate and inspire the team through training and performance reviews to ensure the company's culture and expectations are met and exceeded while maintain the company's mission and culture of positivity. Train store staff by reviewing, and implementing training materials; delivering training sessions; understanding the staff needs of the store and build depth on the bench to ensure all Company initiatives can be expedited with ease.

Interview, hire, train, reward and discipline employees; appraise employees performance; resolve complaints. Follow established policies and procedures and execute all company programs for customer service, staff management, patient and visitor management, inventory management, cash handling, state compliance, and safety and security guidelines. Identify and develop process improvements to assist with company growth. Develop strong vendor relationships and monitor, manage, and maintain proper inventory levels.

Guide patients and employees with cannabis recommendations including product selection, affects, potency, dosing, methods of consumption, and administration. Effectively and diplomatically handle employee or customer concerns and complaints while interfacing with the State Director, Marketing Team, and Inventory Team. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of cannabis; its various forms, its chemical composition, effects, dosing, titrations, methods of consumption, and quality metrics. Manage the adherence to all State/Municipality regulatory and compliance legislation and policies.

Receive deliveries, build purchase orders, and maintain accurate records. Complete daily and weekly tasks/duties as assigned by your supervisor. Maintain neatness, organization, and overall cleanliness of the entire store. Attract customers by originating display ideas; following display suggestions or schedules; constructing or assembling display properties; producing merchandise displays in showcases, and on sales floor. Effectively and diplomatically troubleshoot MJ Freeway, coupons, and various patient issues. All other job duties as assigned.
