training/certifications as needed, paid for by IHC Scott Responsibilities: - Inspect plans, materials and finished work products- Responsible for observing and making good business decisions- Keep accurate notes and records- Ensure equipment and tools are calibrated and used appropriately- Perform process checks- Ensure workplace is safe, organized and productive- Have past heavy civil/horizontal construction experience- Be physically present at the jobsite when any work related to the area assigned is being performed- Review the contract specifications, drawings and any referenced publications contained in contract documents so as to be fully knowledgeable of the scopes of responsibility- Review
any related submittals for conformance with the contract documents- Observe the work daily for compliance with the contract documents and prepare the appropriate CQC Forms- Supervise and coordinate all inspections and testing contained in the contract documents related to your areas of responsibility- Assure that the reported tests are in compliance with the contract documents- Verify daily the compliance of materials and equipment delivered to and/or incorporated into the work Qualifications: - ACI & ODOT certifications are preferred, not required.
