Summary/Objective: The Boiler Service Technician will be responsible
for the servicing, troubleshooting, repairing cleaning, and maintenance of heating and cooling equipment and related systems for commercial / industrial customers.
Essential Functions: Service boilers and equipment for commercial / industrial customers Troubleshoot, test, repair, maintain or modify heating systems and equipment including, but not limited to, high pressure steam, low pressure steam, and hot water systems Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacement and modifications requested by customers Prepares on-site installation and repairs - examining building layout, anticipating challenges, identifying materials and coordinates on-site work Document, complete, and
maintain paperwork on each job Performs other duties as assigned Supervisory Responsibility: No Required: 5+ years of relevant experience cleaning and servicing boilers in a commercial / industrial environment; or equivalent combination of vocational training and experience 4+ years of practical experience in general HVAC work Knowledge of basic electricity and electrical control systems Understanding of fuel oil, natural gas, and propane Must be able to multi-task, work with minimal supervision, follow written and oral instructions, show attention to detail, and demonstrate problem-solving skills Ability to read, understand, and work from blueprints, specifications, and schematics Must be able to pass post-offer pre-employment drug screen, and may be required to satisfactorily complete additional background checks as required (i.
e.
