Job Responsibilities 1. Conducts complex field examinations of grain warehouses and grain dealers. 2. Prepares examination reports and inspection sheets 3. Examines grain warehouses for storage capacity and condition of grain. 4. Conducts special audits in connection with acquisitions, bankruptcies, and liquidations of grain dealers and grain warehouses. 5. Participates in training and the training of others. 6. Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
Minimum Qualifications 1. Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to the completion of four (4) years of college with coursework in fields related to accounting, auditing, business and agriculture.2. Requires two (2) years professional work experience in grain warehouse examination or related field. Conditions of Employment 1. Requires a valid driver's license. 2. Requires ability to travel and be on travel status when instructed. 3. Requires the ability to successfully pass a background check. 4. Required to assume residency in Christian, Sangamon, Macon or Shelby County and will be required to work from their home location as a base of daily operational headquarters to service their designated worksites.
