Below is information on the Order Selector/Picking position and below that explanation of other warehouse opportunities that we have: Note: Dry WH temps range from 40-80 degrees by season, Perishable WH is 29-53 in the cooler, and -10 to 0 degrees in the freezer Basic math and reading skills are needed in all positions Order Selector with Pallet Jack (Dry or Perishable Warehouse) This job involves a lot of moving through the warehouse with a pallet jack, and repetitive lifting for about 80% of the shift where you generally lift products that weigh 10-50 lbs, and on rare occasions lift up

to 100 lbs.

Will pick products as dictated by a pick list using a headset which gives special instructions on what aisle to go to, which slot to select from and the # of cases or products to pick.

After you have picked everything for that order slip, you will then move all items onto a pallet for shipping, following food safety and weight rules to keep products safe and from getting smashed. Incorrect placement could cause the driver a lot of unnecessary work and make the driver late for subsequent stops which can cause customer dissatisfaction. Will include staging pallets on the dock and then moving onto the trailer using a palletjack and manually moving boxes. There is administrative functions with recording temperatures, taking a picture of the load for records, and notifying the shag driver that the load is complete.
