Ladies and gentlemen what we have here is a 1954 anniversary yellow Harley Davidson with some interesting history.
Over the past several months were corrected many items that were incorrect such is a long tip muffler nuts bolts hardware rebuilding the carburetor painting it black and installing the correct one year only carburetor mounting bracket
chrome parts etc. all oils and filter flushed and changed and greased. Fired up on 4th kick after sitting for many years runs as it should. I have all documentation and a clean title.

This is a 1947 Velocette MSS.
All original, run strong. Engine turns freely and has comp. Good spark. Mono block carb, Lucas gen. Dowry seals leak. Speedo not working. I have shown this as honestly as I can so be sure to look at photos carefully. Included are some extra parts (wire harness, drive sprocket, used valves, used standard piston, rocker box and other bits). Sold as is.

Beautiful Velocette Thruxton, Only 1100 Thruxtons were built of which I believe about 300 came to the United States.
I have verification documents from Grove Classic Motorcycles in UK that this is a matching numbers bike. The bike is very original, that said there have been some sensible non cosmetic upgrades. It is fitted with a composite clutch,
toothed dynamo drive belt, Grove Classic Motorcycles paper oil filter mod, the VOC gearbox selector modification to facilitate tighter shifting, all of these things are invisible but definitely worthwhile. The bike will come complete with all the verification documentation I have, Velocette Service Manual, Haynes Manual, engine and gearbox rebuild DVDs and documentation.

It was used for weekend rides and VOC events, and maintained by Vincent specialists. The machine is in excellent working order, starts quickly, and performs very well, even in modern standards. Some modifications include alloy mudguards, Black Shadow ribbed front brake
drums, magneto cut-out switch, and the more reliable Amal Concentric carburetors. The mileage may have been reset to when the engine received top end work.
