MV Agusta factory works bike and in incredible condition.
This bike was one of the 71 bikes included in the book, The MV Agusta Collection. Below you will find the details of this bike copied from The MV Agusta Collection. While MV Agusta built many motorcycles with sporting potential, actual factory-built race bikes were rare machines. When
the factory constructed racing machines, they affixed a brass tag to the engine case. In Lusso trim, this 150 SS was equipped with a front telescopic hydraulic ford, and a rear swingarm with hydraulic shock absorbers. The brakes were enlarged from the Sport " E" model; the front grew from 130mm to 180mm, while the tear was enlarged from 130mm to 150mm.
The Lusso was fitted with a longer seat cushion, allowing the rider to assume a more sporting stance while on the vehicle. The engine was the same as the Sport " E" in that it generated 9 horsepower at 6500 rpm. Though the bike didn't have an excess of power, it only weighed 92Kg, giving it nimble handling. 1968 Indian Super Scout.
The engines for these bikes were bought by the U. S. Army in 1941, 42 and 43. The engines were originally 500 cc and when the bike was built they were bored to 37 CI, or 586 cc âs. The bore/stroke is: 2.750â3.063â. The frame is a light chrome molly plunger type used in the 249-250 series with 53.5â wheelbase.
The forks are Indian Aerodraulic forks. The fuel tank is metal 3.2 gallons. The bike sat in storage for about nine years in an enclosed hanger, until I purchased it. In November/December, 2018, this motorcycle was given a complete check. Fuel was drained, carb rebuilt, all new fluids timed/tuned and brakes inspected.
All electrics (lights/horn/brake light) are in good working order. The motorcycle originally came with a two up seat, Lucas type taillight, metal floorboards, metal kickstart pedal and high handlebars. I replaced the taillight with an original style Indian one, lower handlebars a solo sprung seat, original Indian period correct rubber kickstart pedal and new Indian floorboards.
All original parts are included with the bike along with other parts and manuals. The solo seat springs are original Scout 7â seat springs but I do have a set of Colony 5â chrome heavy duty springs that I will include.
Brand new Coker period correct tires, same size and tread as the original ones that were on the bike in 1968. The bike is always garaged and covered and started on a regular basis. All original paperwork, history of this bike along with all receipts are also included.

The motor and transmission have both been completely gone through with 10 over pistons, ground and lapped valves, all new seals, gaskets, and all parts showing ware replaced.
The motor has the original rebuilt M74B carb. and original rebuilt Mod. 61 generator with new replica regulator, aluminum pans with aluminum D-Rings. No broken fins on
heads or cylinders and all pan screw holes are original with no repairs or heli-coils. I believe this is a very early 63 because it does not have outside oilers and has late 62 heads. This bike has most black parts powder coated. Gas tanks have been sealed. Does have working neck lock with keys.
New rims with stainless spokes and new replica whitewall tires, Original oil filter with new lines, new tool box, new bugal horn, new air cleaner, new replica exhaust and fish tail muffler, new shocks and shock tops, new brakes front and rear, new cables, and clutch plates. 1967 Aermacchi Harley-Davidson Sprint ERS Replica Full fiberglass fairing, gas tank and seat.
Tank has been sealed with Caswell's tank sealer. Neverthesless I typically use only non-ethanol fuel with this bike. She is also fitted with clip-on bars and adjustable rear sets. The bike is light weight and handles like a dream. The bike is track
ready and safety wired, yet it is also street legal and has a clear California title plus current registration. The headlight is in the nose of the fairing and there is a side mount tail light/license plate bracket behind the right rear shock. The electrical system is OEM with a new voltage regulator and new battery.
Wheels are shouldered Excel alloy rims with stainless spokes. The front brake is a dual leading shoe unit from a 1973 Sprint that stops like a disc with one finger operation. New rear shocks and a gold race chain. The motor is a 1968 250cc short stroke with around 180 miles on it. It was built with a new top end, piston, valves and guides. The bike was stored for about three
years and only came out for photo shoots, dealership display and movies or commercials. The bike starts easy and runs great. It is serviced and ready to go. The bike comes with the parts and service manuals.
This is a chance to own a collector's one of a kind motorcycle.

Custom built, 1966 750cc Norton Atlas caf é racer.
I am the second owner. I have owned and ridden this classic for 8 years, I ride it mostly on weekend rides ( about 1300 miles since purchased) and it always brings a smile to my face. It has always been stored indoors, only seen dry weather and has never to my knowledge been dropped. No expense
was spared in creating a beautiful caf é racer typical of the late 60âs/early 70âs; the detailing is superb. This bike uses real original caf é parts, not reproductions. Slimline featherbed frame; alloy Real âLyta â short circuit tank; polished alloy oil tank; frame, swing arm, primary cover, etc.
powder coated; alloy parts are all polished; Commando forks; hard chromed stanchions; triple clamps machined from aircraft Dural (aluminum); Akront stainless, flanged wheels; stainless spokes; lightened hubs; rare, magnesium racing Lockheed front brake and master cyl. with drilled front disk; all fasteners are stainless steel; stainless fenders. Engine dynamically balanced and
head flowed; lightened and polished valve gear; genuine Dunstall camshaft; 850 oil pump with modified flow to head and spin-on filter modification; Superblend bearings; magneto ignition; new Amal 930 Concentric carbs (installed by Brian Slark); g âbox also with Superblend bearings and all new gears and bushes; chain-driven Barnett clutch.
Many more features. As with all pre-Commando, primary chain Nortons, weeps some oil out of the primary case, but is otherwise oil tight. Starts first kick (usually), handles and stops as you would expect from a featherbed frame/disk brake classic. Acceleration from 4,500 rpm is exhilarating. This is a bike you can ride and enjoy!
